January 27: Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneur Development Institute (JKEDI) has brought laurels for the state by bagging second best entrepreneurship development institute in India award. After its establishment in the State, it has successfully trained youth for taking up business ventures instead of looking for government jobs. Eighty five percent of the trainees have successfully set up their business units and provided employment to many jobless youth. In an interview with Rising Kashmir reporter Junaid Kathju, Director JKEDI M I Parray talks about how the institute is also helping to bring professionalism in government department.
