Centre for Policy Studies and Research is meant to design an R&D framework for entrepreneurship development and innovations promotion suitable to the state. The functions include identifying policy improvement areas, preparing policy advocacy plans and documents that will steer economic development policy formulation in the state.

Objective

Centre for Policy Studies and Research is meant to design an R&D framework for entrepreneurship development and innovations promotion suitable to the state. To design a Research and Development framework for entrepreneurship and innovation suitable to the state of J&K creating thereby innovative information products and services essential for holistic approach to Entrepreneurship Development.

Functions

• To design and introduce a sustainable R&D framework with scientifically identified R&D themes pursued to foster an innovation driven approach towards entrepreneurship development.
• To prepare various advocacy plans and documents that will steer policy formulation in the state.
• To develop research based information products for consumption of various sections of society with respect to economic development of the state.
• To be in a continuous state of self-appraisal and conduct 360-degree impact-evaluation analysis of the various activities of the vertical.
